In this drawing class students will learn how to draw a small duck using basic shapes and then adding lines to complete the drawing. Students will learn how to shade and color to make good duck feather texture. They will see how to leave white spots to make their drawing stand out. Students will learn how to make simple grass shapes and how to make simple flowers that can easily be repeated. They will color those in using colored pencils or crayons. Students will need a black marker, pen, or sharpie to outline their duck, grass, and flowers. This last step will really make their drawing stand out.
