In this course students will gain a good foundation of painting by learning about primary colors, warm and cool colors, shades and tints, and texture for trees. Supplies Needed: -8" x 11" ( or similiar size) Canvases or bristol board ( or hard sturdy paper that will not crinkle when paint is applied) -Acrylic paint* -Paint brushes -Pencil -Eraser -Pallet or paper/plastic plate ( or pallet paper or tin foil ) -Paper towels or wipes -Cup with water Acrylic paint -Colors needed: black, white, yellow, red, blue, orange, green, purple, and brown. -We use a lot of white paint. Please make sure you have lots of white paint. If possible please have two different hues of each primary color, two blues, two yellows, and two reds. -A bristol board book for sketchbook made for paints is about $10 -Acrylic paint is $1 per 2 ounce bottle -A small set of brushes is $3-$5
