Students will learn how to draw a stuffed animal by looking for basic shapes that make up the toy. They will learn how to connect those shapes and how to show different textures by using markers. We will have a few simple tools to help us get perfect circles , but will draw other shapes. We will learn how to use different parts of the marker (the tip versus the side) and how different strokes will change the look of the fur. At the end we will have time to share each child's work. No prior experience is needed for this class. Students will need a plastic cup and a quarter (or other coin) for this class in addition to a pencil, markers, and paper
Learning Goals
Students will learn to break down an object into several small shapes and how to connect those together to make a completed picture. Students will also learn different ways to use markers to show texture and demension.

Supply List
Supplies needed: -paper -pencil -eraser -markers - need purple, pink, black, yellow, green, and blue -solo cup or other plastic cup -coins - quarter and dime or a bigger coin and a smaller one *Instead of coins you can use a water bottle top and a small glue stick . These will be used to trace circles for the eyes so any small circular object will work.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
