Class Experience

Students will:
-see examples of sewing machine stitches.
-see examples of machine-stitching techniques.
-practice one machine-stitching technique.
While homework is not required, it is recommended that (for students wanting to continue sewing) review of his/her machine is done between classes so as to better familiarize himself/herself with the individual machine. The better acquainted with the machine, the easier it will be for the student to work on the machine and troubleshoot any problems that might arise during work.
-pencil and paper for those wanting to take notes -access to a sewing machine -scrap fabric and thread for using the machine in the 3rd week of class
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance is due to the handling of sharp objects such as needles & scissors.
