Class Experience

Do you have a sewing machine but not entirely sure how to use it? Do you have a long list of sewing projects you want to make but not sure where to start, or how to read the patterns? In this ongoing course students will expand their sewing machine knowledge, sewing techniques and put it all in practice. Practice is progress. Together we will discuss what the learner is hoping to gain through this class, each week can be altered and molded to the interests, and personal goals.
What will be taught --week - week breakdown:

Week of July 11th: Japanese Knot Bag
A really fun and easy way to practice sewing lining! Bring two fun fabrics that match but are different :)

In my classes we explore drawing, painting and mixed media techniques in addition to learning the history of art and fashion. I work with each student individually -- no matter the class size, together we consider their creative style and celebrate their individual artistic mark.
