Have you ever been asked to do a research project? Do you aspire to be a leader in the workforce? Many Leadership roles use slide shows to aid their presentations, teachings, and many other opportunities for visual representation. In this 4 week course we will learn the following: Week 1: How to set up your power point -Choose a topic for practice -How to add slides, type, choose layouts and designs that are appropriate and visually appelaing. -How to name and save your PowerPoint -How to site outside sources used in the slide show. -planning and mapping -How to present slide show Week 2: -Review First topics -Animations and transitions -Smart art graphics - Check in on how everyone's project is going Week 3: -How to present -slide show etiquette -how to share your screen in live meetings -Check in for presentations Week 4: Time to present -Students will take over this class and present their power points to the rest of the class for a grade.

Students will need access to Powerpoint. They may also need a note book and writing utensil for notes but this is not required.

Hello! I am Ms. Ashby and I teach kindergarten reading and writing skills here on outschool as well as in a brick and mortar classroom during the school year.
I have a very diverse teaching background. Since graduating with my Bachelors in Elementary Educationand minor in reading education I have taught 2nd grade, pre-school, 4th grade, and Kindergarten as the primary teacher. I have also had long term substitute positions in 1st and 2nd grade. I have a passion for hands on learning and whole brain teaching. My goal as a teacher is to help students reach their goals, personal and academic, by fostering a love of learning and giving them a space to be curious and learn through experiences.
A little something about me: my list of hobbies is ever growing as I love learning new things and consider myself to be crafty. I am currently into wood working and embroidery. I live at the beach with my Dogs Marlin and Mabel and in our free time in the spring and summer months we enjoy going out on the water fishing or enjoying the company of others.Reviews
