This Introduction to Microsoft Excel class will teach your student the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel. We will be discussing Microsoft Excel's features from top to bottom. A thorough walk-through of each toolbar will take us from the File Tab to the Home Tab to the Insert Tab to the Page Layout Tab and so-on, all the way through the Help Tab within Microsoft Excel. At class-end, students will have gained an introductory understanding of Microsoft Excel, as well as have the opportunity to ask general questions. As there is a lot of material to cover, the class will proceed mainly in lecture format. No required experience within Microsoft Excel is necessary, just an enthusiasm to absorb valuable information in regard to one of the most important and widely used spreadsheet softwares out there!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile! With over 5 years online teaching experience, I have been described by parents as an encouraging, creative teacher with strengths including conversational practice, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. Subject areas I look forward to teaching your child include Microsoft Office Suite, grammar, creative writing, cursive writing and an introduction to the SQL programming language, to name a few. I believe a classroom setting should have a healthy mix largely of seriousness, yet with a pinch of fun mixed in at times. Generally my philosophy is work hard play hard, with work always coming first. Again I'd like to thank you for stopping by. I'm looking forward to our learning journey together!
