Want more fun games to play at home with your brothers and sisters? Using folk songs, chants, hand clapping patterns, dances, and singing games from around the world, I will teach repertoire for cooperative and friendly competitive musical games that can be played between two or more siblings, right in the comfort of your home. All activities are interactive with the siblings you came with, and we will play games together as a whole group, too! This class is designed to be taken after the original "Singing Games with Siblings" course, as we will be reviewing favorite games from that class as well as learning new ones. Students will also be encouraged to think creatively about how to play games with their siblings, and to share variations and new games with the class. ***All children who will be participating must be registered for this class, and more than two children can be registered per family, although they may wish at that time to set up more than one screen. This class is designed for at least two children to play games such as hand clapping with each other in the same physical space, so parents who are looking to register just one child should check out my other music classes for more singing game opportunities.***

I am a certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Music Education. I have completed all three levels of Kodaly music education training, which means that I specialize in creating sequential curriculum using folk and art music. My undergraduate degree was also in Music Education, and my major instrument was piano.
I love to teach, especially preschool group classes, piano and ukulele lessons, and anything that includes joyful music making. My favorite classroom moments are when students light up with the realization of how much they really can do. It is my hope to bring that moment of confidence to each student, so they may become lifelong learners.
When I am not teaching, I am usually crocheting, reading a fantasy book, or dancing around the living room with my family.
