Semester Math Support

Hello there! My name is Eve Wallis. I have a master's degree in mathematics and more than twelve years experience teaching math courses in prealgebra, algebra, college algebra, precalculus, calculus, and applied technical math.  I also have experience with teaching learner success classes involving lessons in test preparation, time management, goal setting, active reading, and more.

In my classes I like to give you worksheets to fill out as we go over important concepts together then do engaging and challenging activities to practice applying those concepts. I believe that we learn math by doing lots of examples, but that we should also gain an understanding of the "how" and the "why" of what we are learning. 

Every learner is different and has different strengths and modes of learning in which they excel. With my classes I try to accommodate all different types of learners by providing audio, visual, and tactile elements in my lessons and by encouraging them to participate and ask questions.

Recently I have been homeschooling my two children and looking for more ways to cultivate math education. I have written and published two math books and, in the future, I hope to write more books on math topics and market a plethora of high quality math worksheets.
