In this 4 week self-guided, flexible schedule class, students will apply the things that bring them joy toward future goals! While there are no live meetings, there is plenty of interaction that takes place through the sharing of ideas, fun polls, and self-discovery journal prompts! Each week, learners will follow a pre-recorded guided lesson by me, answer journal prompts associate with the theme of the week, and share assignments with fellow learners. Students are asked to offer other students positive and constructive feedback on their posts and will receive feedback from me, as well. Assignments will be posted on Sundays and are required to be complete by the start of the next week. Through provided examples, the teacher will help students understand the importance of using what they already know, love, and are talented at apply toward future goals. Students will learn how to use what they enjoy in life to apply toward future goals.

This week will be all about you! Have some fun exploring and documenting what you enjoy!

"Exploring Favorites"
This week you will identify your favorite things by creating a Heart Map and other fun activities!
Lesson 3:
"Your Goals"
This week we will take time to identify and measure goals you've been wanting to work on.
Lesson 4:
"Your Vision"
"Your Vision" This week we will take all of your ideas, likes, talents, skills, & favorites to create a vision board!

I have a training and a teaching background in social-emotional skills and mindfulness to children, tweens, and young adults. I taught social-emotional behavioral skills for close to a decade in the public school system.
I have also been a mentor to young adults as they map out their future.
As an English major, I love storytelling through journaling and photography and love using those tools for self-discovery.
