I have an undergraduate degree in English & Allied Language Arts, as well as a Master's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and a doctorate in higher education, which gives me the relevant training and experience to teach the topic of critical thinking and film to older learners. In addition, I have a minor in Folk Studies and have taken graduate courses in Folk Studies, which gives me the experience and background to discuss the analysis of pop culture, film, and television from a cultural perspective.
