This "Show & Tell" course focuses on the things and people that bring joy! Students will receive photography and journaling prompts to do and share each week with classmates. This series will be perfect to keep as a documented time capsule!

🧠 Each week, students will explore, discover, and interact with the world around them through photography and journaling exercises that will be perfect for keeping as a documented time capsule! Students will complete two themed photography tasks, one weekly journaling prompt, & an optional bonus challenge each week. This is a self-paced class where students progress at their own pace. While there are no live chats in this class, there is plenty of opportunity for students to engage with the instructor. I will respond to all submitted work within two days. Each week, students can access my pre-recorded weekly video and then, show and share their weekly projects in the virtual classroom and/or through direct message. This course will inspire their imagination and foster an appreciation for taking meaningful photos, telling the story behind them, and observing and enjoying the small things in their lives. *No previous experience is needed to take this class!

🍎 My name is Mrs. Dee. I taught at the elementary level for several years before running my own professional photography business for over ten years. Since then, I have been raising my girls, homeschooling, and teaching virtually. I hold a BA in English Literature and have a passion for storytelling. Photography became an extension of that for me.
☕️ When I’m not reading or hanging out with my daughters and our pets (2 dogs + 2 cats), I enjoy traveling, blogging, photography, baking, and keeping my plants alive!
🌟 With guided instruction, I help students share their stories through creative writing, photography, and other creative avenues. My classroom is a FUN, engaging, comfortable space that welcomes creative thinking, connection, kindness, and questions.
