US Grade 2
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this 10 unit course students will review math concepts of second grade material. While this class can be done at your own pace it is suggested that you due one unit per week for maximum leaning and retention. Each unit has 2-3 lessons on the topics included in the syllabus with hands on activities that are done with the teacher while watching the lesson. After class students have optional worksheets, which they can submit for grading. For this class you will need access to a printer, a whiteboard, child friendly scissors to cut out printed materials, pencils and crayons. Some students also like to keep a binder with the printed materials in it for easy reference. Let me know if you have further questions

Parental Guidance
We will be using scissors for various lessons to cut out materials needed for the lesson. Parental guidance is needed.
Supply List
A whiteboard and marker are needed for these lessons as well as access to a printer for PDF's I will be supplying weekly. You will also need child friendly scissors ( parent guidance is needed) and crayons.

Welcome! My name is Debbie and I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in the visual arts. I also hold Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on math and science. I have been lucky enough throughout my career to have taught grades K through 6 and be a math and reading interventionist. Math is one of my favorite subjects to teach and I love thinking of creative ways to get students to love it too and gain confidence.
I primarily teach math classes most popular class is my 1:1 math tutoring class, but I have expanded my classes recently to include art classes as well as thematic science classes for first, second, third and fourth grades.
