Welcome to Scratch Explorers! This group class is perfect for young coders just starting their Scratch journey. Each month, we’ll create a fun and simple project together, introducing beginner-friendly coding concepts. With step-by-step guidance, students will gain confidence in coding while exploring their creativity. Our monthly themes make learning exciting and keep students engaged as they build interactive stories, games, and animations. By the end of each month, students will have a completed project to share and be proud of! Class Highlights: Monthly Themes: Each month brings a new beginner-friendly project. This class uses Scratch, a free online coding platform. Students will need to create a Scratch account to save their projects. Parents may wish to supervise account creation and ensure a safe online experience. No other content or safety concerns apply.
Pre-Requisites
No prior coding experience is required! This class is designed for beginners who are just starting their Scratch journey. Learners should be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard and able to follow simple instructions.

Tirré Logston has over 8 years of experience teaching Scratch coding to children in both online and in-person settings.
