In this one-time class, learners will practice their adding skills while using letter tile values to determine the sum of words.
Class experience
In this class, learners will practice their adding and counting skills while they try to figure out the sum of words. The format of the class will consist of share screen slides as well as a printout of the letter tiles (if students would like a physical copy). There will be different categories to figure out which word has the largest or smallest sum. Learners will be given a chance to figure out the sums on their own, before going over as a class. For example- CAT or DOG C=3 A=1 T=1|...
Students will practice adding and comparing sums.
