Weekly Private Cursive Class

In this private weekly class, you'll write cursive, with my customized program to help you reach your penmanship goals!

Class 1: What cursive style is best for you?
First, we'll determine which style of cursive suits you best.  

After we've picked a style or a combination of cursive styles, you'll complete exercises that help you get comfortable and confident in your writing. 

Class 2: Where are the difficult parts?
As you learn and practice, I'll give you writing challenges designed to give you insight into what you can improve. 

Class 3: Maximize your strengths, minimize your weaknesses!
We'll work on minimizing your setbacks, quizzing your memory, observing common pitfalls, and problem-solving with recurring mistakes. 

Class 4: Which writing challenges keep returning? 
In this class, we'll isolate the most challenging parts of cursive for you and work only on those tough parts.  After you've mastered these letters and tricky formations, writing will be a breeze!

After class 4:  What best serves your needs?
This is highly dependent on how often you complete your work outside class, as well as how engaged you are during the class.  After four classes, we will work on what requires the most attention to achieve your goals as fast as possible. 

After each class, I'll provide a summary of what we accomplished, and give you suggested but not mandatory homework you can do independently. 

At the beginning of every class, you'll have the chance to show me your writing, so don't be afraid to practice by yourself!
