Class experience
Come create interesting designs in this class that rolls art, design and mindfulness all into one! You'll learn some fundamental design lessons of line, composition, balance and positive and negative space while having a great time chilling out and doodling with intention in this class. We learn a bit about slo-ow-w-wing down, taking our time to create quality, intentional lines with confidence and grace. It's a little bit of a meditation, it's a design class, and it's a whole lot of fun...
Students will improve their skills in creating careful, mindful marks that employ pattern, repetition, line thickness, curves, angles and positive/negative space.
I'm passionate to the core about CREATIVITY, personal expression and the ability to express our thoughts and perspectives in creative ways. As a professional designer, artist and instructor, AND a parent, I feel more motivated than ever to be able to provide my personal resources to others in hopes that I can fill some voids that seem to be disappearing with public education's limited budgets and resources. This particular camp/class is a great tool for reducing anxiety and stress for those who enjoy really getting into the "zone" and creating mindful, repetitious patterns, lines and graphical creations.
