Did you ever want to know what a reptile is? It's actually a more complicated question than you might think! Come learn about phylogeny and anatomy in this interactive class featuring live animal ambassadors.
Class experience
In this class, learners will be taught about reptile diversity, evolution, phylogeny, and anatomy. The class will be structured with both live animal demonstrations and PowerPoints that include photos and videos. Learners will listen to presentations about each slide and be asked for comprehension at certain points, usually when a single section is completed. I have worked at multiple zoos and museums discussing reptiles and other animals to guests of all ages.
Snakes and other live reptiles will be present both in the form of images as well as live animal ambassadors. This class will also discuss the evolution of reptiles so an open mind to evolution is required if attending this class.
