All writing begins with an idea. In this introductory tutorial learners will be presented with techniques that help them generate ideas which they can use to get their writing started.

Beginner Level
This is a 1-on-1 tutorial where the learner can have the privacy needed to feel comfortable about writing. I show learners how to find ideas in every day things and how to apply those ideas in writing. I present different strategies for brainstorming and for writing. This is an interactive course where the learner will write along with me while participating in writing games and exercises.
Learning Goals
The learner will gain experience as to how to begin a writing project. These techniques will tap into the learner's creativity and with practice the learner should feel more at ease with the writing process.
