This one day class will introduce and practice reflecting two dimensional images on graphs, the reflection rule, and applications of it with problem solving examples. Learners will observe the orientation of the image is changed, but the size and shape of the image and its angles stay congruent. They will be able to describe the reflection of the image using coordinate points and be able to apply the "rule of reflection" to transform its position on a graph. My lessons include slide...
Students will be able to write and use the rule of reflection to transform an image on a coordinate plane.
3 files available upon enrollmentHandouts will be provided to follow along with the lesson and for practice.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
