This class will cover the concept of using multi-step ratios and proportional relationships to determine the percent of change, simple interest, taxes, mark-ups, and sale discounts in real world examples. There will also be examples and practice for changing fractions to decimals, fractions to percents, decimals to percents, decimals to fractions, percents to decimals, and percents to fractions. Students will be able to use multi-step ratios to solve real-world examples of simple interest, tax, mark-ups,and percent of change.
2 files available upon enrollmentWorksheets and notes will be provided to follow along with the practice during the lesson. A calculator would also be useful.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
