Description
Class Experience
Reading - letter names and sounds
- sight words
- rhyming words
- blending onsets and rhymes
- recognize basic story elements and sequence of events
- distinguishes between fact and fiction
Math - count to 100 by ones and tens
- identify numbers to 30
- recognize and create patterns with shapes
- addition & subtraction 0 through 10
- understand greater than, less than and equal to
Writing - write first and last name
- write sight words
- write from words to sentences
- write sentences with basic punctuation and capitalization rules For each class students will need: paper pencil crayons, colored pencils, or markers index cards - optional for sight words to use as flashcards at home worksheets (pdf will be provided at least 24 hours prior to class) *Any other materials needed will be communicated at least 24 hours prior to class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
