Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 1
In this class students will review math concepts taught in Kindergarten in preparation for 1st Grade through games, songs, and other activities. Students will have the opportunity to socialize while having fun and learning. Each class will begin with a calendar review and will focus on a core math concept:

1) Counting, Skip Counting, and Comparison
2) Addition
3) Subtraction
4) Shapes (2D and 3D)
5) Telling Time by the Hour, Sequencing

Students should have completed kindergarten or have knowledge of kindergarten math concepts, including counting up to fifty and adding and subtracting digits up to ten. Students do not need to have mastered this material but have had a general introduction.

I am a homeschool parent with a background in elementary education as well as a background in math and finance.

I look forward to meeting your child!
