Calling all Dav Pilkey fans! In this class, we will read Dragon's Fat Cat chapter book by Dav Pilkey and complete worksheets together to practice reading comprehension skills. Our class schedule: Read Chapter 1 "Meow" Response page: Circle what the cat looked like. Who was under the lump of snow? Draw Dragon and the cat. Read Chapter 2 Life with Cat Response page: What did Dragon name the cat? Decorate Cat's bed. Read Chapter 3 Problems Response page: Could Cat use the toilet? Circle the things Cat needed. Color Cat Read Chapter 4 Left Behind Response page: Who had Dragon forgotten? What had cat done? Follow the route to take Dragon back to Cat. Read Chapter 5 Home Again Response page: How many kittens did Cat have? Decorate the kitten beds. This class is perfect for independent/advanced Kindergarten readers and 1st grade readers. Students will need to print the response pages and bring them to class. Students are not required to have the book as I will be reading and sharing it aloud.
