Class Experience
Students will learn healthy vocal technique, improve their singing voices, and as a result gain more self-confidence.
MFA in Performing Arts BA in Music Certified Miller Voice Method teacher Over a decade of teaching and performance experience
Students are encouraged to practice 15-30 minutes a day outside of class time if possible.
Occasionally a student may be asked to purchase sheet music or a song book depending on their musical goals and experience level. Links for purchase will be provided as needed. I will often send students a karaoke or instrumental YouTube link to sing along with for some songs we work on. If possible, I encourage each student to have a second device (in addition to the device they are using to connect to the zoom lesson) such as a tablet or phone in order to play the karaoke or instrumental music. This helps prevent possible zoom audio delays, but is not necessary.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
