Class experience
Students will learn or expand their ability to play the flute. This class is designed to be adapted to an individual student's needs and goals. Whether they are a beginner or an advanced flutist, students will be amazed at their progress. According to a student's individual needs and goals, students will learn: Flute technique - Basic to Advanced Tone production - from basic sound production to advanced color, nuance, intonation, and control Repertoire - solos, duets, school music, audition...
Each student will work on developing their own goals under my guidance and supervision. I will strive to guide students to make appropriate goals and those goals will be shared with parents.

Homework Offered
Students are expected to practice on a daily basis. The more advanced the player, the more practice time that is needed to maintain and achieve goals. Each student has a different goal, so these suggested practice times are flexible and will vary according to a student's goals and availability. Beginners: 20-30 minutes daily - at least 5 days a week. Intermediate: 45-60 minutes daily - at least 5 days a week. Advanced: 60-120 minutes daily - at least 5 days a week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
