In these drop in classes, students will become more proficient reading music as they practice together. Each week will have a different focus as we review and practice music theory, and classes do not build on each other. Various focuses will include, but not be restricted to: -Treble Clef and/or Bass Clef notes -Rhythm notes and time signatures -Dynamics -Music terms -Tempos -Notation -Accidentals Each class will consist of 10-15 minutes of teaching/reviewing time for the focus of the class. Then we will spend the remaining time with reinforcing games. This class is ongoing, which means learners can add and drop it as they please! Students must have a basic level of music knowledge. If music learning is new to a student, I suggest my other courses first, “Secret Language of Music”. Please message me if you have questions or concerns about whether this drop in course is a good fit for your student.
Learning Goals
Students will become more proficient at reading music by reviewing and practicing different topics each class.
