A fun and creative weekly beginner French class, designed to reflect the world of children aged 4-7 years. Follows on from part one. We are ready to welcome back our loyal, regular students and new students too! Each lesson focuses on using spoken French and includes fun activities, songs, rhymes & stories. The teacher will use French in immersion style as much as possible, encouraging the children to speak out loud, saying key words and guided sentences. Camilla is a licensed and certified teacher with six years of experience teaching French in person and five years experience teaching online. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French Teaching from the University of Utah. She also lived in three French-speaking countries for a year and a half (France, Switzerland, Luxembourg). As a teacher, Camilla is patient, encouraging, and upbeat. She makes class enjoyable and stress-free while still creating a challenging learning environment. She enjoys using music, movement, and visuals to help learners focus and engage. Camilla loves the French language and loves sharing her passion with others. The students will be encouraged to say words and short sentences in French outloud. The activities are designed to captivate the learners attention and focus on active participation from them to maximize learning. The lessons include movement and actions, simple rhymes and songs. Each student should participate from a quiet learning environment. If there is background noise or other disruption it will be necessary to mute the individual learner. The learner should be shown how to use the unmute button in zoom when invited to speak French by the teacher, or have an adult present to assist.
