This class is designed for beginning French students. This class assumes some prior knowledge. Students should have a basic understanding of: greetings, pronouns, conjugation of verbs avoir and être, alphabet, colors, numbers, and basic grammar such as gender of nouns. All of these topics are covered in my Levels 1 Beginner's French classes. Students will be provided with additional basic vocabulary and support to begin speaking more independently. Though this class is labeled Level 3, if your student has the background knowledge listed above (or has completed by Level 1 class), they will be successful in this class if they are comfortable moving forward with more advanced grammar and verb conjugations. Students will be encouraged but not required to practice speaking French from the first class. In this class, we will cover:

• parts of the body
• food & drink
• clothing
• negative phrases
• asking questions
• adjectives & comparatives 
• gender & number agreement of adjectives
• conjugation of regular -er, -ir, and -re verbs
