This is a cross-curricular class. Learners will learn writing and communication skills when preparing their postcards to send. Learners will improve their handwriting skills. Learners will learn about other countries by sharing with each other the postcards they may have received.
Stella has been sending and receiving postcards internationally for 12 years and has sent 547 postcards a total distance of over 1.3 million miles (or 54 laps around the world). She has received cards from 59 different countries! She is looking forward to sharing her love of postcard sending and collecting with Outschool learners.

Postcards Pens Stickers Stamps Enthusiasm!
There is a small risk that student addresses may become visible if learners are sharing postcards they have received. For this reason, the class recordings will not be made available for viewing after class. I strongly advise that parents ensure their address is covered by affixing a sticker or post-it note before class. Students are not permitted to write the address of the recipient on the cards they are sending until after class. If you are concerned about address privacy it is advisable to choose an art picture postcard to send rather than one of your locality. You may choose to send a town, county or state postcard if you are comfortable doing so.
I am currently not accepting new recorder students. Please contact me to ask about future availability and waiting lists.
