Class Experience

Created by popular demand! If you are an Eevee fan or enjoyed the "Create Your Own Eeveelution" class, you'll love this one. In four weeks, we will create many more Eeveelutions.

Each week, we will look at different Pokemon types and discuss why they look the way they do. Afterward, students will have an opportunity to create Eeveelutions. They will be encouraged to create the types discussed in class, but they can also create whatever kind of Eeveelution they want. Once everyone is finished, we will share our new Pokemon creations and discuss how they would fit into the Pokemon world.

We will start with a presentation about the Pokemon types. At the end, I will give students ideas for creating their own Eeveelutions and give them some time to brainstorm and discuss their ideas. They will then be given time to draw their creations and afterward, we will share our work and discuss it.

I strive for my classroom to have a relaxed and friendly environment. I encourage a lot of output and discussion, but I also understand some students may be shy and I will not force them to talk. However, every student should create Eeveelutions and present it to the class.

We will be drawing our creation on paper. Please make sure you bring pencils, paper, and something to color with (crayons, colored pencils, markers, gel pens, etc.) Everyone is welcome regardless of art skills. The goal is not to draw perfectly, but to create something fun and new!

Week 1: Fighting, Poison, and Ground types.
Week 2: Rock, Bug, and Ghost types.
Week 3: Steel and Dragon Types
Week 4: Flying and Normal Types

Learning Goals
