Learn to draw your favorite Pokemon characters Pikachu and Charizard using an easy step by step process that ensures everyone is successful. I will have a completed and colored picture while showing each step in clear and precise lines.  This step by step drawing approach will teach students art methods in a fun and engaging way while building their confidence. There will be time to have open conversations about the game and the series. Which character do you like?    Students will be encouraged to share their drawings at the end of the session (but they don't have to share if they don't want to).  Come and join this fun art class!

Hello! My name is Patti Barber and I have been an art teacher in Marlton, New Jersey since 2004 and an English as a Second Language teacher since 2017.  When it comes to art,  my number one rule in my classroom is the nothing has to be perfect. I show my students how to transform their so called "mistakes" into beautiful and creative masterpieces.  I feel it is my job to encourage and to foster the confidence so all children feel like artists.  In 2017 I  joined VIPKID teaching English to children in China over the internet.  I love teaching over the internet and I look forward to connecting with my students across the globe each day. I make learning English fun while still correcting pronunciation. I am encouraging and patient with my ESL learners so they will feel confident to speak. I enjoy reading (weekly trips to the public library is a must in my house), traveling with my family (our current quest is to see all 50 states - currently visited 28/50) and sharing my love of history with my kids (touring historical houses is a must on all our trips).
