This is a hands-on science and art class that combines the love of modeling dough and science. In this class students will build a model of the solar system and learn fun facts about the planet; Including the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. At least 5 cans of modeling Clay or play-doh are required for this class and a plastic or butter knife. Students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to build this model. Please print the attached worksheet located in the classroom section. This class is part of a series of classes and can be taking together or separately. The series includes; Circulatory System Respiratory System Nervous System Digestive System A certificate will be emailed out after each class.

Supply List
At least 5 cans of modeling dough are required for this class and a play-doh knife. Students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to build this model. Optional: If at all possible please print the attached worksheet.

Teaching is my lifestyle. I have been a certified teacher for 20 years teaching both math and science classes. I have my Gifted and Talented endorsement and have taught STEM for K-5th grade for over 10 years. I have taught both K-5 in a public school classroom and I am a homeschool mom that loves the process of educating students.
