Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Learners will be taught the STEM process which is to ask, plan, create, test, and improve. They will listen to the story My Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires. They will then have the opportunity to create their own "magnificent thing" from their items they have previous established. The learner will be asked to share their item and the purpose for it while explaining their design. Students will improve in using creativity, brainstorming, and mastering the STEM process.

Parents will need to collect various items such as pipe cleaners, straws, rubber bands, cupcake liners, recyclable items, shoe box, toilet paper or paper towel rolls, scissors, tape, glue, markers, etc. to give the learner a variety of materials in which to build and create their item. Each learner may have a variety of items based on what the parent provides. I can supply additional item suggestions as needed.
The learner may need to use scissors to create their item. Adult supervision is needed based on the age of the learner.
