Welcome to Pattern Exploration Using Magna-Tiles! In this class students will learn all about patterns. Students will explore with the teacher, with each other, and on their own what patterns look like and how to continue a pattern or find a missing piece to the pattern. Supplies needed for this class: -Magna-Tiles (or another brand of magnetic play pieces) Patterns can help provide an understanding of mathematical relationships. Understanding patterns can also provide a good foundation for understanding algebra in the future. Let's play and learn a new math skill together!

Students will learn beginning concepts to identifying patterns and creating their own patterns.

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Vicki Calak. I have worked in a private school setting, public school setting, and have been a nanny. I have taught in a few different Homeschool Christian Hybrid Programs as well as teach classes here on Outschool. I have experience working with little ones all the way up to high school age.
