If you are concerned about your child's needs, please send us a message and we are happy to accommodate your child and adapt our classes and teaching to meet each child's individual needs. ☆ This is an interactive class where children will have opportunities to learn executive functioning skills that will help them complete important tasks and jobs. ☆ Children don't need to have previous experience of executive functioning. No background knowledge of the topic is required in order for the children to succeed in this class.

Week 1: What is Executive Functioning?
We will talk about what executive functioning means and why it is important. Learners will practice their working memory by playing a game called “Movement” Chain”

Lesson 2:
Week 2: Parts Of Our Brain and Their Role
Discover the amazing power of your brain! We'll explore the fascinating world of our working memory. Get ready to boost your brain power! We'll play exciting memory games and challenge ourselves with "Where's the picture?" activities. You'll learn how to strengthen your working memory and improve your ability to focus and remember information.

Lesson 3:
Week 3: Being Present
Being present in our day-to-day life can be challenging with all the distractions we face every day. Practicing being present can help us stay engaged with the important tasks or jobs we need to complete. Learners will do a whole-body mindfulness activity to practice staying present. Learners will then play a memory game to further practice developing their working memory.

Lesson 4:
Week 4: Working Memory
Our working memory helps us remember things in the short term so we can complete important tasks or jobs. Learners will practice working memory by playing a memory game and playing “Where's the picture?”
