Beginner Level
Children will be taught at their individual level and needs, in a relaxed and easy, yet structured and progressive way that moves children forward in their skills and knowledge; and in a multisensory way, including practical application activities and games. We will use phonic-based reading books and materials. During the tuition, children will also be taught phonics, and how to read more effectively by blending as they read. They will be taught how to build words, and how to segment, blend letters and switch letter sounds to spell and write. And children will learn how to sort words with the same sounds into different spelling categories.
Learning Goals
Children will sound out and blend letter sounds to read as they go.
Children will build and blend letters to spell and to write.
