US Grade 3 - 8
Beginner Level
Children will be taught at their level and needs, in a relaxed and easy, yet structured and progressive way that moves children forward in their skills and knowledge; and in a multisensory way, including practical application activities and games. We will use phonic-based reading books and materials. During the tuition, children will also be taught phonics, and how to read more effectively by blending as they read. They will be taught how to build words, and how to segment, blend letters and switch letter sounds to spell and write. And children will learn how to sort words with the same sounds into different spelling categories. AVAILABILITY Only during UK School Holidays, in the daytime: 45 mins / 1 hour, from 10 am to 6 pm. *Monday 17th Feb to Fri 21st Feb (UK Spring Half Term) *Mon 13th to Fri to 25th April (UK Summer Half Term) *Mon 21st July to Fri 29th July (UK Summer Break) *Mon 27th Oct to Fri 31st Oct (UK Autumn Half Term)

Learning Needs
These classes are for children who are dyslexic or have other special education needs, therefore, everything is adapted to the needs of the child.
Pre-Requisites
Children should have a basic knowledge of the alphabet and it's letter sounds, and know how to write the alphabet letters. Children need to be able to blend letter sounds at a basic level.
Supply List
Children will need magnetic letters and a magnetic board, plus a whiteboard and pens for every lesson. I will supply reading and other materials that can be downloaded in each class. Children/parents will need to print out materials that I give them.
