Funky Punctuation (for Juniors)
In this short course, children will learn a variety of different types of punctuation, how they work, and when to use them. The Children will also have activities to complete so they can practice using the punctuation they have learned.

Beginner Level
Children will be taught through pre-recorded videos and will be given activities/sheets to complete, with games in some lessons. Each lesson can stand alone, but it is best practice for children to take their time to complete every lesson and practice their skills with the activities. The lessons are structured so that children can increase and build on their skills.

Learning Needs

Pre-Requisites
Basic skills of reading and writing, and some punctuation knowledge would be helpful but not a pre-requisite.

I gained a BA Honours degree in Integrated Childhood Studies, and Early Years Professional Status (Teacher Status). Not long afterwards, I gained certificates and diplomas in Home tutoring and Shadow Education, (with Distinctions) plus Dyslexia and Autism to Level 5.
I have worked with children for between 20-30 years plus. I have worked as a one-to-one tutor with students who have dyslexia or other special needs for the past 10 years, mainly teaching, Phonics, reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation and literacy to older children.
