Class Experience
Come compose your first song! A private lesson good for beginners who want to be creative and play around on their new instrument. We will first learn two easy chords on the ukulele or guitar, whichever instrument you have. We’ll practice switching between chords while strumming. Next, we’ll create lyrics using an online MadLib while also getting to practice identifying parts of speech. Afterwards, we’ll set the lyrics to a familiar melody. Once we combine the strumming and the melody, you’ve composed your first song! If you enjoy this class, I do offer private ongoing lessons. Please message me if interested!

Students will gain familiarity with how to hold their instrument, strum, and switch between chords on the ukulele or guitar.
