Songwriting is its own unique art form. Students will learn song structure and various techniques to create unique songs. We will begin with a warm-up and/or a writing exercise. Then, we will learn a specific technique each week to create part of a song related to that technique. At the end of class, we will present our work, and if time allows, add instrumental and melody.
