I'll meet the learner one a week for 30 minutes each day, focusing on reading and writing skills determined in the initial assessment. We'll tackle decoding, multi-syllabic words, and fluency using digital text. Introduction: Begin the class with a brief discussion on the importance of phonics in reading and writing. Students will develop essential reading skills, including phonics and decoding, to enhance their proficiency in English. Throughout the sessions, I will actively engage the student, asking questions to ensure understanding and promote interactive learning. Through personalized sessions, they will learn how to read effectively, strengthen their phonics understanding, and improve overall English language skills.
With over 8 years of teaching experience, I have taught students from foundation stage (Kindergarten) up to Year 6 (Fifth grade). Currently, I'm working in a primary school in Year 2 (First grade). After I achieved my TEFL certificate, I taught in Fifth grade, where I was able to provide effective and engaging language instruction and I've had the pleasure of teaching English to young learners from diverse backgrounds.
