Description
Class Experience
Social: Students will learn how to have appropriate online class interactions with other leaners. Students will learn practice listening, sharing, and teamwork. Each week there will be a brief "show & tell" time. Science: Each week students will learn about one creature and its habitat. Student will learn the terms mammal, fish, reptile, bird, and crustacean. Math: Students will practice counting to 100, and identifying numbers 1-100. Students will practice identifying and naming shapes. Students will practice completing patterns. Students will practice simple addition and subtraction. Language/Reading: Student will practice identifying letters associated letter sounds. Students will practice matching uppercase and lowercase letters. Students will practice reading comprehension skills. Students will be introduced to CVC words and sight words.
Printer, scissors, and crayons. Octonaut toys are welcome, but not required.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
