Each week students will play interactive learning games to uncover clues that will lead them to the "mystery creature" of the week. Students will practice identifying letters and letter sounds, play math games, review shapes and symbols, and have fun exploring with the Octonaut crew. Each lesson will begin with a greeting. Hi there, I am Leah! I am passionate about nature and science. I have a BA in middle childhood education with concentrations in science and math. Since college I have worked with children from preschool to high school. I am currently a work from home mom, and I've been an online educator since 2017. I believe young learners thrive when they are learning what they want to learn. Think about a time when it was easy for you to learn something? What made it easy? I know it's easy for me to learn when I follow my interests and go where my curiosity leads me. Personally, I love running, hiking, cycling, skiing, and being outside as much as possible. I think my passion for adventure shows up in all my classes. Please let me know if you have any questions or class suggestions.
