This class focuses on beginning skills and concepts of multiplication including specific vocabulary, arrays, repeated addition using groups, number lines and manipulative of choice. Can accommodate for diverse and struggling learners.

Class Experience

This class extends beyond simple memorization of multiplication tables into the concepts and understanding of why we use multiplication in everyday activities.  Students will be presented with varied methods of multiplication to grasp the concept including:  repeated addition, manipulatives, grouping, arrays and a number line.  We will review the basic vocabulary for multiplication including array, multiply, factors, and product.
