K-8 Reading and Math Customized Tutoring for Special Needs - 2 Times Weekly

Each student will be given a quick skills assessment at the beginning of the first tutoring session to determine the key skills needed to be addressed.  If parents would like, they can provide assessments or school material needed to be considered in lesson design.  Printables will be provided and individualized notes will be provided to parents for skills practice following each session.  All lessons will be customized each week to meet the unique needs of each student.  Diverse learners needing scaffolding and explicit instructional design will be accommodated.  Lessons for reading and/or math will be give via Google slides, printable, short video snippets for modeling and interactive whiteboards for problem solving, brainstorming and visual mapping of content.  Time can be adjusted for each session within the lesson to focus on either reading or math skills.
