AT the initial session, the student will take a 3-5 minute quick assessment to determine exact instructional need. Lessons will begin with intermediate to advanced phonics instruction critical to decoding unfamiliar words student may find in text. Students will engage in vocabulary and the use of context. I have 24 years of experience teaching students with remedial or special needs in reading instruction. I have a Masters degree with additional certification in Reading and Curriculum and Instruction.
