In this ongoing class, students will be able to receive ongoing tutoring services on either teacher directed skill sets or on skill sets from their traditional school.

This on-going class is created for students that need consistent one-on-one tutoring services for specific reading skills. Students will receive a reading assessment to determine needs in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression. Students will increase phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression according to learning needs assessment and instructional levels. Students needing accommodations for language development, diverse learning needs, or advanced learning needs are welcome and encouraged!
I am a fully-certified special education teacher with 24 years experience working with students in below grade level, at grade level and advanced level placements. I have experience working with neurodiverse student that need accommodations and support. I also have language acquisition certification for English learners.
Homework Offered
Homework will not be required, but extension activities can be provided according to parent need.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students will assessed monthly for progression skills in regards to phonic skills, Lexile Reading Levels and Guided Reading Levels.Grades Offered
