In this one-time course, students will learn strategies to complete two-step word problems using multiplication and division.
Class experience
This class will teach students how to solve two-step word problems using different strategies. We will work through multiple problems together and go over the different vocabulary that will help your learner in solving these problems independently in the future. The learners will get to interact more as the class goes on as they will begin solving the word problems together. We will also review word problems that have errors, so we can identify what was done wrong and learn how to avoid those...
Learners will either need paper and a pencil or a print-out of the example problems provided.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
