Ms. Tammy’s Modern Dance Class is for students to explore basic dance moves with music. The object is to have fun, get moving, and learn a new type of dance.

Class Experience

Beginner Level
This class is taught in English.
  • Students will learn how to stretch
  • Learn about Interpretive Dance
  • Learn some of the dance movements for Modern Dance
I have choregraphed routines for school productions and shows. I am not a professional dancer so my prices are cheaper to encourage learners to dance and appreciate the beauty of Modern Interpretive Dance. As the class progresses, we will put moves together to do a performance for students to share with their parents and family at students leisure.
Prerequisites include: 
Ability to participate in physical activity 
Comfortable clothing to move and stretch
Doctor's Clearance for physical activity
A comfortable space to dance that is a medium to large space in the home.
Comfortable clothing and sneakers 
Modifications will also be given for most movements. We will also use different types of music will be used throughout this course. Also, safety is first and a free and clear workout space will be needed. Please remember to not have your child overexert themselves and if any movement hurts Do not Continue. Listen to your body first and foremost.
