This class will be taught as a summer enrichment class for learners who would like to try exercising through the use of dance as well as learning new dancing techniques. The class is very informal and great for first time students. My teaching style is very informal and encouraging. The dance moves will be put to music and will incorporate beginner arm movements, side lunges, and slow turns. Each class will review previous concepts and build upon each other. Dancing in this class is more about interpreting the moves as you see it and executing it each time we meet. This is a great class to introduce students to dance and have fun! Modifications will also be given for most movements. We will also use different types of music will be used throughout this course. Also, safety is first and a free and clear workout space will be needed. Please remember to not have your child overexert themselves and if any movement hurts Do not Continue. Listen to your body first and foremost. Always hydrate as we work out and stretch before and after we dance. This will prevent soreness as we workout.
