What's included
Homework
1 hour per week. Each week, you will need to: 1. WATCH that week's video and MAKE your own creation while saying the Spanish words. 2. SHARE a video of yourself sharing about your creation, practicing that Spanish vocabulary. (Some learners may prefer to share a photo of their creation and the description in writing instead, but I would highly encourage the spoken practice.) 3. REVIEW with the provided class notes and provided worksheets; share photos of your completed worksheets. 4. ENGAGE with classmates in our weekly extension activity. (Week 1 - Scavenger hunt in which you share a picture of your vocabulary item and guess the item of a classmate in Spanish; Week 2 - Draw and mold with playdough a breakfast item and guess what your classmates items using the Spanish words; Week 3 - Charades in which you act out a vocabulary word and guess what word your classmate is acting out; Week 4 - Scavenger hunt in which you share a picture of your vocabulary item and guess the item of a classmate in Spanish)Class Experience
Each week we will target different Spanish vocabulary groups through playdough creation. The teacher will direct the learners to create a certain kind of creation in each lesson, while leaving room for creativity (for instance, what kind of animal or what breakfast foods each learner will make). Since this a flexible version of the class, it includes NO live meetings. Learners may watch the videos, complete the projects, and share in the Outschool classroom when it is convenient for them each week. Each week, you will need to: 1.
