Support I am happy to provide in class: ⚖️- Informal assessment to gauge current Spanish ability 📝- Review of student homework if they are taking a Spanish class, particularly helping students understand where they may be struggling with extra practice for those areas. 🧑🏻🏫- Spanish language lessons by topic 😮- Pronunciation guidance 🗣️- Spanish conversation with individualized levels of support 🎲- Games and fun activities for practice 📖 - Spanish readings and stories Over the years as an online Spanish teacher and tutor, I have created hundreds and hundreds of materials to support student learning. I am happy to pull from my tool box and also think outside the box to help Spanish learners on their individual language journeys. When applicable to our lesson, I provide follow-up materials for learners to practice during the week.

I received a minor in the Spanish language with my bachelor's degree (2011). Later, I went on to complete the seven-week level five Spanish course at Roca Blanca Spanish School in Cacalotepec, Mexico (2018). I have taught group Spanish classes to a variety of ages ranging from preschool through high school over a period of more than eight years, mostly online. Also, I have been raising my children primarily in Spanish since 2016. Finally, I recently completed a master's degree in Elementary Education (2024) and received an Ohio Primary (PreK-5) Educator License.Reviews
